Tulip
Tulip is a modular suspension lamp by Marc Sadler that I developed for Slamp, transforming his poetic vision of floating flowers into a balance of lightness, precision, and craft.
Tulip was born from Marc Sadler’s vision and my design development for Slamp — a lamp that speaks of lightness, movement, and refined craftsmanship. Each tulip is hand-molded in Lentiflex® through Slamp’s artisanal process, making every flower unique. Suspended by nearly invisible steel cables, the luminous blooms emerge from brushed brass stems, carefully angled to evoke a natural and harmonious rhythm. A thin copper wire connects each flower, conducting low-voltage electricity while creating a delicate visual pattern. I oversaw the entire project development, translating Sadler’s poetic idea into an industrial product that preserves its ethereal elegance and ensures technical precision in every detail.
